What we collect
When you ask for a quote or book a survey, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the property address and postcode, your preferred survey date and time, any notes you add, and the answers you give about your home and the system you want (for example roof type, number of panels and battery size).
If you only use the price calculators and don’t submit a request, your answers stay in your browser and aren’t sent to us.
Why we use it
We use your details to send you your quote, arrange and carry out your survey, and talk to you about the work you asked about. Our lawful basis is that you’ve asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract with us. We won’t use your details for marketing unless you separately agree to it.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run this website and handle your request:
- EmailJS, which sends your quote by email to you and to us.
- IONOS, which hosts our email.
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typeface used on this site. Your browser connects to Google to load it, which shares your IP address with Google.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
If you don’t go ahead with the work, we delete your request after [24 months]. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as needed for warranties, MCS certification and our legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email Heating@Hasmart.uk or call 0191 519 7322.
