Heating and cooling in one system

A modern split air conditioning system is an air-to-air heat pump. In summer it cools the room. In winter it runs in reverse and heats it, very efficiently. That makes it a practical year-round option for conservatories, extensions, garden rooms and offices, not just a summer extra.

Why use an F-Gas registered company?

Air conditioning systems contain refrigerant gas. By law, only F-Gas certified engineers working for an F-Gas registered company can install, repair and service systems that contain it. Hasmart is F-Gas registered, so the work is legal, your manufacturer warranty is protected, and the system is pressure-tested and leak-checked properly before it's charged.

How an installation works

1. SurveyWe look at the room size, insulation, windows and where the indoor and outdoor units can go, and how the pipework will run.
2. Design and priceWe size the system to the space and confirm the price.
3. InstallationOur engineers fit the units, run and test the pipework, and connect the electrics. Most single-room jobs take a day.
4. CommissioningWe vacuum and leak-test the system, commission it, and show you how to use the controls and app.

Servicing and repairs

Regular servicing keeps a system efficient and helps it last. We clean filters and coils, check the refrigerant circuit and drainage, and test performance. Many manufacturers require servicing to keep the warranty valid. We also repair systems that have stopped cooling or heating, are leaking water, or are showing fault codes.
