Your local solar installer
Hasmart is based at One Trinity Green, in the centre of South Shields. Our surveyors, roofers and electricians are local, so we're close by for your survey and installation, and for any help you need afterwards.
We install across the town and the rest of South Tyneside, including Westoe, Harton, Cleadon Park, Biddick Hall, Horsley Hill, Marsden and Whiteleas, as well as Whitburn, Cleadon, Boldon, Jarrow and Hebburn.
Solar on a coastal town's homes
South Shields has a mix of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, interwar semis and newer estates, and each roof type needs a slightly different approach. Our roofers check the condition of the tiles or slates, the roof structure and access at survey. Terraces with limited access often need careful scaffold planning, and we arrange that for you.
Being on the coast, homes here are exposed to strong winds and salt air. We design the mounting and fixings for the wind conditions of your location, as MCS requires, and choose equipment suited to the site.
